This Privacy Policy applies to the Zelo Delivery Partner mobile application (hereby referred to as the "Application"), developed and operated by Anmol Ratan (hereby referred to as the "Service Provider").

The Application is provided to registered delivery partners to receive, manage, and complete delivery tasks assigned through the Zelo platform.


Information Collection and Use

The Application collects limited information necessary for delivery operations, including:

  • Delivery partner profile details (such as name, phone number, and vehicle information)
  • Government-issued identification details for verification purposes (if required)
  • Device Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • Device information such as operating system, device model, and app version
  • Usage data including app activity, delivery actions, and feature usage
  • Location data (only while on active delivery, if enabled) to facilitate order tracking and routing

Location Information

The Application may collect real-time location data to:

  • Assign nearby delivery tasks
  • Enable order tracking for customers and vendors
  • Improve delivery efficiency and route optimization

Location access is used only during active deliveries and can be managed through device settings.


Notifications

The Application requests the POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission to send notifications related to:

  • New delivery requests
  • Pickup and drop-off instructions
  • Delivery status updates
  • Account, earnings, and settlement-related updates
  • Important operational or policy announcements

Notification preferences can be managed or disabled at any time through device settings.


Internet Access

The Application uses the INTERNET permission solely to:

  • Communicate with Zelo servers
  • Sync delivery tasks and partner data
  • Provide real-time updates and notifications

Payment and Banking Information

The Application collects delivery partner banking details, including bank account number, IFSC code, and bank name, solely for the purpose of processing earnings, payouts, and settlements.

Payments are processed manually or through internal systems by the Service Provider, and banking information is not shared with third parties except where required by law.


Third-Party Services

The Application uses trusted third-party services for analytics, performance monitoring, and crash reporting. These services may collect information according to their own privacy policies.


Data Sharing and Disclosure

Delivery partner information may be shared with internal systems or trusted service providers strictly for operating the platform and fulfilling delivery services.

Information may also be disclosed if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of the Service Provider, delivery partners, or platform users.

The Service Provider does not sell delivery partner personal data to third parties.


Data Retention

Delivery partner data is retained only for as long as necessary to operate the platform, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Children and Age Requirements

The Application is intended for use by delivery partners who are at least 18 years of age.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
